
Dr. Teri Jones - Founder / President
Dr. Teri Jones is a graduate of National University with a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, and has a specialization in Enrollment Management from Capella University. Dr. Jones’ entrepreneurial background covers higher education and community advocacy. She has been instrumental in advancing the success of several nonprofits such as the Space Coast National Congress of Black Women, the Pastors Community Alliance, a manufacturing initiative and METCA, a healthcare preparatory training program, which was implemented in 2017.
Other community initiatives that Dr. Jones is involved with are Florida Today, as a freelance writer and Ebony News Today, as a correspondent. She holds several Board positions: Florida Funds for Minority Teachers, Space Coast Economic Development Commission, and Epic Mastermind, as a contributing entrepreneur exploring business ventures.
She is also an active member and Ambassador for the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Jones retired as a U.S. Army Quartermaster Captain from Patrick Air Force Base in 1997 (renamed in 2020 as Patrick Space Force Base) after twenty years of honorable service.

Carol Watson-Miller - Vice President
Mrs. Carol Watson-Miller has over 40 years of work experience in nursing care with BSN and RN degrees. Her entrepreneurial skills lead her to implement and manage her private nursing school, Harris-Casel, for 15 years in Brevard County.
Today, she uses her nursing and entrepreneurial talents to consult start-up nursing schools in the United States and in the Caribbean. She is the owner of two small online businesses, Onyx Gifts and Books, LLC.,and The Oxygen Room Consultants, LLC.

Carlisa Amoo-Mensah - Treasurer
Ms. Carlisa Amoo-Mensah is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Technology, with a specialization in Healthcare Management. Ms. Amoo-Mensah started her entrepreneurial journey by establishing 4 Your Love Home Care Agency, which is a licensed, non-medical, elite companion care agency that serves Brevard County residents.
Ms. Amoo-Mensah’s latest healthcare innovation, Anavi, is a technology driven invention that uses immersive technology to create a virtual reality (VR) caregiving educational training program. As a community advocate and volunteer, Ms. Amoo-Mensah’s team makes breakfast annually during the
Christmas holidays for the CITA Rescue Mission residents. She was recognized in her community for her innovations and commitment to healthcare by several awards such as the Female Small Business Owner of the Year and the weVenture Women Who Rock award. She also served honorably as a United States Air Force Spouse for over a decade.

Karen Martin - Secretary
Ms. Karen Martin is a graduate from Warner Southern College, with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, and graduate studies in Management at Capella University. Her post- military retirement career began at Bevard Job Link (today CareerSource Brevard) where she served as the Business Service Representative, partnering with local employers where she developed employment
opportunities for job seekers and customer clientele.
In the capacity of Director, Student Services at Harris-Casel Institute, she designed the managerial procedures used to qualify students for the healthcare training programs offered at the Institute. Her most noteworthy accomplishment was the coordination, development, and implementation of the Practical Nursing Program as a course of training for Harris-Casel Institute.
Ms. Martin is retired from the United States Air Force after serving 22 honorable years. She is also a philanthropist and serves on Boards for other non-profit organizations. Her purpose is to make a difference in the lives of underserved residents within her community of Brevard.
